Basketball Participation
At Crawford, I have been part of the basketball and netball first teams. In my participation, I was basketball captain for the year 2022/23 and 2023/24.
In 2023/24, my team managed to come first in an IPPSA U15 tournament at Woodcreek and third place at a KAISSO tournament at Hillcrest. I have also received a scroll for basketball: an award given to students when they show immense skill and outstanding performance that exceeds standards of that specific department, in this case basketball.
From the different games played during the term, I was scouted by many referees and coaches and included within Kenya’s U16 provisional national basketball team list where I was invited to participate in a training camp.
Netball Participation
In netball, for the year 2023/24, my team managed to come third in an U15 IPPSA tournament at Crawford. I was also selected to represent Crawford Kenya in South Africa at an U-19 inter-Crawford sports fest against other Crawford schools.
